National taskforce

The taskforce is seeking to bring about change:

in their individual organisations and networks
to influence generic and specific policy relating to parents with learning difficulties in England, Scotland and Wales.

Achievements of the taskforce include:

disseminating the Good Practice Guidance (PDF, 688.kB) for working with parents with learning disabilities in England and most recently in Scotland
contributing to the recent Report on the Human Rights of people with learning difficulties.
