The logo should normally appear on the front covers of University of Bristol publications.
The graphic block should be 17mm square in most instances.

On publications larger than A4 (eg, A3 posters) or smaller than A5 (eg, DL leaflets), the logo size can be adjusted to suit.
The logo should normally appear in the top right-hand corner of publications. The logo should be 1 x the graphic block from the right-hand edge and 1 x the graphic block from the top edge.
On occasion, the logo may appear lower down but should remain 1 x the graphic block from the righthand edge and should not appear lower than 1 x the graphic block from the bottom edge.
The suggested typefaces for University of Bristol publications are Bembo and Helvetica Neue. These two typefaces have been chosen to be complementary and to provide a choice of a serif and a sans serif typeface. If you do not have these typefaces, alternatives which are similar in appearance are Times New Roman (for Bembo) and Arial (for Helvetica Neue).

The Bembo and Helvetica Neue typefaces can be bought from the website www.fonts.com using a credit card or University purchasing card.
To cover the whole range of corporate typefaces in the Bembo and Helvetica Neue families, you will need to purchase Bembo Volumes 1 and 2, and Helvetica Neue Volumes 2 and 3.
Bembo is a True Type font and will print accurately from any printer. Helvetica Neue is a Postscript font and requires a Postscript printer for accurate printing. Please check whether you have the required Postscript printer before buying Helvetica Neue. If not, you are advised not to buy Helvetica Neue and to use the alternative sans serif font Arial instead.
