A Vet Nurse with surgical instrumentsUCAS code - DC37

Welcome!

We are proud to be the first university to offer you this unique programme, which combines a high standard of education in both bioveterinary science and veterinary nursing with the opportunity to work within a range of clinical environments, including first opinion and referral veterinary practice.

You will be able to develop your interest in and enthusiasm for science through studying subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Infection & Immunity and Cellular & Molecular Pathology, amongst others.  This knowledge will enhance and inform your clinical veterinary nursing training and equip you well for employment.  You will graduate with two qualifications – a University of Bristol degree and a veterinary nursing qualification awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the regulatory body for the veterinary profession.  This type of qualification will provide a greater range of career options to choose from whilst at the same time offering excellent job prospects in veterinary practice.
