The Chief Operating Officer and the Registrar and University Secretary are responsible for Professional Services at the University.

- financial sustainability
The Registrar and University Secretary oversees the other areas of Professional Services.

Robert Kerse's biography
Robert Kerse started his career training as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Bristol, after being educated at the University of Cambridge. He joined the University in 2016 from the social housing sector where he held executive-level roles in both Bristol and London for 13 years. Robert's previous role was as Executive Director (Resources) at Circle Housing, one of England's largest housing groups with over 300,000 customers, 70,000 properties and a combined market value in excess of £11 billion. He is a member of the board of the young person's homeless charity, Centrepoint.
