Biography

I first studied Buddhism as part of my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Theology at Oxford University. I worked as a volunteer teacher in a Tibetan refugee settlement in North India and travelled in Tibet, before completing an MA and PhD at the Centre for Buddhist Studies in Bristol. Since then, I have been an Affiliated Lecturer at Cambridge University and Lecturer at Bangor University.

Research

My research focuses on the history and nature of the Indian mantra.
