Kemble agrees to perform at Newcastle in Easter week for five nights in return for one third of each night's takings and having the following Monday night's takings clear of all expences for his own benefit.

Fawcett praises William Macready junior as an exellent young man, "a gentleman off the stage and a great favourite with the Publick on it". Thanks Macready for recommending young Newton, but is sick of children on the stage.
