Theatre Collection The Kathleen Barker Collection

Kathleen Barker

This collection is the cumulation of thirty years research into provincial entertainment by the theatre historian, Dr Kathleen Barker. Follow this link for further information about Dr Barker's research interests, or search the online catalogue.

A number of books written by Dr Barker are held in the Theatre Collection's Reference Library, and a collection of essays in her honour, entitled Scenes from Provincial Stages, was published in 1994 by the Society for Theatre Research.
