T4 Site Manager

T4 Site Manager is one of the four, centrally supported platforms used to manage content on the University web presence.

All new, public-facing websites are built and maintained using T4 Site Manager. Internal-facing content is built and maintained using Plone.

Publishing content using T4 Site Manager

Web publishers are split into two roles: contributors and moderators.

If you are looking to acquire access to maintain content on a website, you must seek approval from the website’s site administrator.

You will also need to attend training before you can be given access to the site.

Publish times

T4 Site Manager publishes content at these times every day. Any content approved by a moderator will be included. Approved content will appear on the live site between an hour and two hours after the scheduled publish time:

  • 6 am
  • 10 am
  • 12 noon
  • 2 pm
  • 4 pm
  • 6 pm
  • 10 pm

Note: T4 Site Manager takes between one and two hours to complete a publish cycle. For example, content approved at 9.55 am will be included in the 10 am publish, and will appear on the live site between 11 am and 12 noon.
