T4 Site Manager training

If your job involves publishing content on a website hosted in T4 Site Manager, you need to take our online training course before you can edit the website.

T4 Site Manager for Web Publishers

Availability: This course is open to University of Bristol staff only.
Method of study: Online, self-directed study.
Duration: 6 hours (approximately).
Study time: Self-paced.
Prerequisites: You must have permission from your line manager and Site Administrator to undertake this course. To find out who your Site Administrator is, please check the full list of Site Administrators.
Cost: There is no charge for the course.

Access to edit websites in T4 Site Manager

Let your Site Administrator know as soon as you complete all sections of the training course. The Site Administrator will need to fill in the new publisher access request form to request edit access for you.

  • Anyone completing the course is normally given Moderator permissions but your Site Administrator can request Contributor permissions instead. 
  • We will normally grant access within a few days, as long as the course is successfully completed.

If the Site Administrator is changing, find out about taking on or handing over a website.
