Our student life sessions offer an introduction to the services that support university life in Bristol.

Find out what you want to know about the Bristol student experience with our talks and question and answer sessions. These sessions must be booked in advance when you book onto the open day.

All talks last approximately 30 minutes and require booking in advance.

Drop-in sessions

University is about more than just your course and we can’t wait to show you what else is on offer at our open day. There are plenty of non-bookable drop-in sessions, so make sure you leave time to:

  • Meet our student-facing services in the Exhibition at the Richmond Building (80).
  • See the facilities available in our Indoor Sports Centre (42).
  • Accommodation drop-in tours in West Village and East Village. We have Campbell House, The Courtrooms, Clifton Hill House and Manor Hall available to view which are approximately 14 minutes' walk from campus. 
  • Accommodation drop-in tours in North Village. We have University Hall, Wills Hall and Hiatt Baker Hall available to view. Free shuttle buses will be running from Woodland Road to these locations. 
  • Talk to our dedicated careers team to learn about the employability support available for students at the Careers Centre (41).
  • Picture yourself studying in one of the many libraries or study spaces open on the day, including the impressive Wills Memorial Library (26).
  • Visit the Global Lounge, a unique space in the heart of campus open to all home and international students (43).
  • Drop into the Mature Students’ Lounge to learn about mature student life (80). Find out more about the Mature Students' Lounge.
