About BSc International Social and Public Policy with Study Abroad
This multi-disciplinary, international degree integrates the analysis of government policy with the understanding of broader global political, economic and social change. You will explore, analyse and critically assess contemporary social and public policy issues in and across societies.
In the first year you will develop an understanding of key concepts and theories of comparative and international social and public policy to enable a deeper understanding of the ways in which social, political and economic issues are shaped and responded to in different parts of the world.
In the second year you will explore policy making and implementation and comparative political economy in global, national and local contexts. Alongside this, you will choose optional units in a range of international policy areas and have the opportunity to undertake a work placement.
The third year offers an excellent opportunity for you to extend and deepen your knowledge and experience of policy issues, institutions and outcomes in a different parts of the world through study abroad. Visit Global Opportunities to find out more about where you can study abroad.
