About MEng Computer Science with Study Abroad

This course follows the structure of MEng Computer Science degree, but gives you the opportunity to spend your third year at an English speaking partner university overseas.

During your year abroad you will study computer science topics that are, as far as possible, parallel to the third year of our course at Bristol, before returning to the University of Bristol for your fourth year.

Access to HE Diploma offerPass Access to HE Diploma (Science or Science and Engineering) with 30 credits at Distinction and 15 credits at Merit. 15 credits in mathematics are required with 12 of these at Distinction. BTEC offer D*DD  (IT Practitioners or Engineering) plus A-level Mathematics at A. See admissions statement for alternative Maths qualifications.
