Primary school conferences

Primary School Conferences are a great opportunity for local year 6 students to come onto the university campus learn about what university life is all about.

Students will get a fantastic opportunity to see the facilities available at their local university and meet the academics and students who work and study here. They will get chance to immerse themselves in a number of different subject areas taught at the university with engaging, interactive subject-taster sessions.

Teachers will receive a lesson plan in preparation, so that their students can get the most out of the day, which will include a Q&A session with current UG students and staff.

The event is free of charge and will take place on the following dates:

5 December 2019

Priority will be given schools in the Venturers’ Trust (University sponsored academy) and to other local schools that have a high number of pupil premium students and those from underrepresented groups at the University.

Please apply and we will access your eligibility and try to offer places to as many schools as possible. The deadline for places is the 15 October 2019 and we will let you know if you have been successful by the end of October. Schools will only be able to attend one date.

To apply use this booking form and if you have any questions, please contact: outreach-fls@bristol.ac.uk
