If you need to evacuate your accommodation for any reason and are not supplied with an alternative by your landlord, a list of hotels and hostels is available from the Tourist Board. Please note that neither the University of Bristol nor the University of Bristol Union endorse any particular supplier.
It is important that you report what happened to you to the Police as soon as possible. You need not do this alone; feel free to take a trusted friend or confidant with you (this could include someone from the Students' Union). This can be reported via the emergency telephone number, 999, or you can visit a police station. A list of local stations with opening hours and addresses is available from the Avon and Somerset Constabulary. Their non-emergency telephone number, for all stations, is 0845 456 7000.
If you think this may have been a hate crime, then you can report this online.
