How to contact the Service

The Service is located on the main campus,  in a quiet and private area, at:

If you leave a message on our answering machine, your call will be returned by the Service Administrator or a Counsellor. We will try to return your call within the same or the next day but, due to the way in which the Service operates, this might not always be possible. Return calls will be made with sensitivity to the need for confidentiality in the workplace. To ensure confidentiality in returning calls please state a range of times when you can be contacted in confidence.

If you ring the office number, the reception is normally covered between 08.00h and 16.00h Monday to Thursday, but messages can be left any time.

Alternatively you can send a letter requesting an appointment which should be clearly marked 'PERSONAL' and sent to The Staff Counselling Service, 8 Osborne Villas, Bristol, BS2 8BP or you can request an appointment by email

Normally, appointments are held at the address above.  This location is in the main campus but is quiet and private.

Appointments are available on weekdays, during office hours (9.00am-5.00pm)
