Second round of Engagement Monitoring reports released

2 December 2010

Reports for recording engagement of tier-4 sponsored students in week 9 are now available for staff to complete.

Following the launch of the new Engagement Monitoring reports in e:Vision and the completion of those reports for over 1900 overseas students in week 5, a new set of reports has been generated for the second part of the Autumn term. These reports cover week 9 and should be completed by relevant staff by Friday 10th December 2010.

Ready for the new set of reports the following enhancements have been made to the system by staff in SSIO:

  • Enhanced vertical security, allowing staff to retrieve only those records relevant to them
  • Addition of School option in the retrieve screen, pre-populated for staff working in schools
  • Addition of an Any option to the status prompt in the retrieve screen
  • Engagement period defaulted to the current value, e.g. Autumn Term 2
  • Ability to deselect Engagement radio buttons in the main reporting screen
  • Comments field increased from 200 to 2,000 characters
  • Faculty option added to the level prompt in the Engagement Statistics report
  • Sort facility added to all columns in the Engagement Statistics report
  • Provision of a link to the user guide from within e:Vision
