BSc International Health

The School for Policy Studies works in partnership with the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health, in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry to run this highly successful one year intercalated degree for medical students. The degree is a unique combination of medical and social science with a focus on global health policy issues. All admissions are through the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health.

The course covers five main units and one dissertation. They include Health and the Global Burden of Disease, Health Policy in an international context, Inequalities in Health, Poverty and Development, Gender and Health (with Women's or Children Health options) and Conflict, Migration and Health.
