I looked at a lot of institutions when I was researching where to do a PhD. The thing that struck me about the School for Policy Studies (SPS) was its excellent result in the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) which showed me that the School could offer me an excellent PhD research opportunity.
The experience at SPS is incredible: the postgraduate community is supportive and encouraging; there is ample supervision time and the Centre for Research in Health and Social Care has a positive team atmosphere which allows students to experience the quality and quantity of the School’s research activities. I can strongly recommend the School to prospective students wishing to further their studies.
