School doctorate student receives top faculty commendation

Dr Acomo Oloya Lovelock received a 'Faculty of Social Sciences and Law Commendation' on her outstanding Doctor of Social Science dissertation on "HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment among war-affected and internally displaced populations: The case of Acoliland, Northern Uganda" in June 2012.

Out of approximately 200 doctorates awarded within the Faculty each year, only a very small proportion achieve such a commendation, and everyone at the Centre for Research in Health and Social Care and the School for Policy Studies congratulates her.
