“Standing on the shoulders of the two-headed hedgehog”

In an interview with George Davey Smith, Jerry Morris described himself as a two-headed hedgehog after the Greek poet Archilochus, with expertise in two important areas: exercise and equality. Supported by Jerry Morris' observations, Simon and his colleagues have sought to promote health by encouraging people to be physically active. Simon will describe some of the lessons learned, and the possible implications.

The evening will include the presentation of awards, sponsored by Lifetime, to MSc students graduating

in Nutrition, Physical Activity & Public Health
