Dr Jonathan Williams MB ChB MRCGP MSc(Sports and Exercise Medicine)

Jonathan is a graduate of Bristol University who has 20 years of experience as a GP. He developed an increasing interest in Sports Medicine leading to an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at London University. He now works part-time as a GP and is team doctor for Bristol Rugby Club. He has also worked with athletes from many other sports including endurance running, triathlon, hockey and fencing. Since retiring from playing cricket in 2003, he has become a keen marathon runner and is a UK Athletics level 2 Endurance coach. He is also secretary of his local Triathlon club and is currently training for his first Ironman. He has experienced his fair share of sports injuries, and is aware of the frustrations they cause. Jonathan is interested in addressing the underlying causes of injury, injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
