Vacancy: Sports Massage Therapist for Sports Medicine Clinic

The University of Bristol Sports Medicine Clinic caters for university students, staff and the general public. We have opportunities for experienced, enthusiastic self-employed therapists to join our busy multi-disciplinary team and support more people to be more active.

The clinic is part of the University’s Sport, Exercise and Health division, working to support increased levels of physical activity and improved sports performance within the University community.

You will, ideally;

  • have demonstrable experience in delivering sports massage therapy to a range of clients
  • hold a minimum Level 4 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy/Soft Tissue Therapy or equivalent
  • have a degree in Sports Rehabilitation or equivalent
  • be an accredited member of the Sports Massage Association/Institute of Remedial Massage or similar
  • work well in an interdisciplinary environment, observing professional boundaries and referring onwards where appropriate
  • maintain conduct and practice in accordance with SMA/ISRM standards

Further particulars:

  • Hours to be negotiated – daytime, evening and weekend opportunities available
  • Remuneration based on experience and qualifications
  • Engagement is via casual terms or a self-employed consultancy agreement and subject to Enhanced DBS clearance
