The Gender Research Centre analyses the gender inequalities that exist across the world in order to ultimately challenge and renegotiate gender power relations. It promotes cross-disciplinary research on the nature and persistence of gender inequalities and critical engagement with, and contributions to, feminist scholarship, underpinning our work on gender and political institutions, work, care and welfare, motherhood, migration, (in)security, development, and IR, and global feminist, decolonial and queer theory and politics.

Further opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration are provided by the Families and Parenting and Gender Faculty Research Groups.

For more information on the Centre, and a list of Centre Members, see Gender Research Centre.
