There are two University Open Days held annually in June and September. The University Open Days will provide an opportunity to find out more about the university and life in Bristol.
For prospective students who are unable to attend an Open Day the University runs a series of walking tours.
Post Offer Visit DaysIf you are made an offer of a place with us, you will be invited to attend one of our Visit Days. During the day you will have the opportunity to find out more about the School and our programmes. You will meet members of staff who will discuss with you their experience teaching and researching in the School. You will also meet current students who can tell you first-hand about their experience studying with us. You will have a chance to look at the facilities while receiving advice on essential practical issues such as finance, accommodation and employment prospects. Visit Days can be far more revealing than reading a prospectus, so do take the opportunity to visit us and ask any question you may have.
Our next Visit Days will be in February and March 2014.
Parking is limited - the nearest car park is West End Car Park, BS8 1EH
Attendance at a Visit Day is not required and will have no impact on the consideration of your application. Given the volume of applications, our Admissions Tutors can only see individual applicants exceptionally and by prior arrangement.
A tour of student accommodation is not included in the Visit Day. If you would like to visit one of the University Halls of Residence then you must arrange your visit in advance directly with the Warden of the relevant hall. You can find contact details and information about all accommodation available on the Accommodation Office web site.
