Photographic Competition for visiting students in the School of Modern Languages

A photographic competition for visiting students in the School of Modern Languages was launched in autumn 2013 with the winner being announced last week.

In addition to the already successful year abroad photographic competition run by the School of Modern Languages a new photographic competition was established last autumn aimed at visiting exchange students.  Exchange students were asked to submit photographs that captured something of their of impression of the United Kingdom, its life and culture.

The results of this year's competition were:

Winner:  Lia Narsavidze "You are who you are when nobody is watching" (Starbucks, Liverpool)

Runner up: Serena Ruffato "Bare Family Tree" (Bristol)

Highly Commended: Mirela Halatcheva "The Living Connection" (Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol)
