New online resource for language learning
28 September 2012
The University has launched an exciting new online resource for language learning: the Personal Learning Space
The Personal Learning Space (PLS) is a virtual learning environment available to all language students via Blackboard.
Students can create personal profiles, where they can upload language learning content, such as links to websites, blogs, articles and YouTube videos. We hope to encourage students to share resources with their peers, generate discussions and make connections. As students pool information, perspectives about personal interests in language and culture become more diverse, and students can explore new fields of research.
Full details are in the Personal Learning Space leaflet (PDF, 184kB).
