Dr Matthew Brown has published his latest book is entitled The Struggle for Power in Post-Independence Colombia and Venezuela, a collective biography of the men who fought at the Battle of El Santuario in 1829. The book appears with Palgrave Macmillan.
The book will be launched at a reception in London on 5 September 2012 in the presence of the Ambassadors of Colombia and of Venezuela.
