Success for Modern Languages in University Teaching Awards

Staff from the School of Modern Languages have done very well indeed in the upcoming University Teaching and Learning Awards.

In the main category, Catherine O'Rawe wins an award for her work on Italian cinema while Andrea Zhok and Elena McNeilly have carried off the E Learning Prize for their innovative contribution to teaching translation.

All the award winners will be formally announced at the University Learning and Teaching Exhibition on Tuesday 27th March 2012 in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law Complex on Priory Road.

Competition for the awards is extremely tough and the success of these colleagues is a terrific acknowledgement of the excellent work which goes on across the School.
