Met the terms of your offer?

Congratulations! If you have met or exceeded the conditions of your offer to study at the University of Bristol, we look forward to welcoming you.

UCAS applicants

If your offer is conditional on meeting specific requirements in:

  • GCE A-level
  • AS-level
  • Scottish Higher
  • Advanced Higher
  • Welsh Baccalaureate
  • Irish Higher or
  • BTEC examinations

UCAS will notify us of your results.

If you have met our conditions, your place will be confirmed automatically via UCAS Track. You do not need to contact the University.

If you are taking exams other than those specified above eg: IELTS, Foundation programmes or any international qualifications

  1. Ensure our Undergraduate Admissions Office has copies of your official results or transcript as soon as they are available. Please do not send original documents.
  2. Email scanned copies to bristol-results@bristol.ac.uk. Please include your UCAS personal ID and course of study.

If we do not receive all your results by 31 August, we may not be able to confirm your place with us.

If you are unable to send your results by 31 August, please contact us before this date to let us know why.

If you have met or exceeded the terms of your offer and UCAS Track is showing ‘no decision’

Please contact us with your UCAS personal ID number to hand.

If we are your insurance choice

If your firm choice has not been able to offer you a place but you have met the terms of our offer, your place at Bristol will be confirmed automatically via UCAS Track. You don't need to call us.

If you have met or exceeded the terms of your insurance offer and UCAS Track is showing 'no decision', please contact us with your UCAS personal ID number to hand.

If you haven't quite met the grade conditions of your offer

If you haven't got the grades you needed don't worry, there are several things you can do. Find out What next?.

Common App and direct entry applicants

If you applied through the Common App or to a direct entry course, you should have heard from us by now and we look forward to seeing you in September.

If you have not heard from us, make sure you have sent us all your exam results - it may be that we're still waiting for information from you before we can make a final decision.

Common App applicants should email Admissions via capp-admissions@bristol.ac.uk.

Other direct entry applicants should get in touch with the admissions contact listed in the course finder entry
