23 February 2012
Thursday 1 March 2012, 6pm to 7.30pm at Foyles, Cabot Circus
Join us as the Department of Theology and Religious Studies of the University of Bristol launches the book A Companion to Catherine of Siena, published by Brill (Leiden, 2012). Editors Carolyn Muessig and George Ferzoco will share insight into the saint's considerable role in shaping and reflecting 14th-century spirituality. With other experts, including research fellow Eliana Corbari and research student Emily Rhodes, they will ask what relevance her life and teachings have for the 21st century. And there's a complementary glass of wine for all.
Venue: Upstairs at Foyles, Cabot Circus, Bristol.
Tickets: Free, but must be reserved by Wednesday 29 February 1.00 pm at the very latest; just send an e-mail to Laura Frude at <firstname.lastname@example.org>.
