Contracts and agreements
The Contracts Team is responsible for the following activities:
- reviewing the terms and conditions of research related contracts, ensuring that they are acceptable to the University
- providing expert advice and assistance in order to help re-negotiate, on behalf of the University, where the contract terms and conditions offered to us are unfavourable or unacceptable.
Please Remember:
- A contract must be put in place to formalise all exchanges of information, materials and funds between external organisations and the University.
- The terms and conditions of ANY research contract or agreement must be approved by us before signature (usually by the Finance Office).
