Do it like a Pro: Make yourself Memorable
Monday February 20th – 6pm-7:30pm – NSQI Building, Tyndall Avenue (opposite Arts & Social Sciences Library)
Just for a moment, think about the last event you went to. You might be struggling to remember who you met because, lets face it, we meet a lot of people.
This session looks at what makes people and their propositions memorable and shows you how to apply this knowledge to avoid getting a "glazed" response when you're communicating.
Fortunately, by the end of this session you will have learnt:
- 3 things you must do to ensure people want to hear what you have to say
- 3 concise, clear and conversational introductions that you feel confident using
- a formula for telling stories that demonstrate your credibility
- identified ways to keep strengthening your key relationships - without being a pest
Developing and deepening relationships takes time. But it takes a lot less time when the key people actually remember who you are and the value you create.
Leading the session will be Melissa Kidd. Melissa runs Coaching Creatives and helps people and their propositions to become more memorable. Melissa is an NLP Master Practitioner and communication coach, and her clients include Coca Cola, HSBC, Royal Mail, and a range of South-West creative agencies.
