To ensure that we work in a way that allows us to respond better to Faculty’s needs, we have reviewed the structure of the division. We have created a new Faculty focused role within RED, described as the Faculty Team Leader. The Faculty Team Leader will work with the Dean, the Research Director and Enterprise Leaders to identify the Faculty’s needs regarding support from RED. The Faculty Team leaders are:

RED, based in Senate House, works with academics to support research excellence and enterprise activities. In addition to providing support to deliver the University’s Research Strategy and Enterprise Action Plan, we are able to assist academics to:
- Seek funding for research
- Protect intellectual property
- Market / license the outcomes of research
- Negotiate agreements and contracts
- Undertake entrepreneurial training
- Start up and develop spin-out companies
