Lectus Therapeutics Ltd is a drug discovery and development company. The company works in the ion channels field, which are recognised as therapeutic targets in a variety of disease states including asthma, epilepsy and urinary incontinence. The company has exclusive rights to use a validated high throughput proteomics platform technology licensed from Procognia Ltd. This technology will be used to identify and develop 'second-generation drugs' that target ion channels selectively. Lectus has recently successfully completed a funding round of £8.2 million.
