Setting up a business isn’t easy, our Translation Toolkit seminar sets out to arm you with the knowledge you need to take your product to market. Get your head around the different steps it takes to spinning out a company, from intellectual property to contracts.

Andrew Wilson from the Research and Commercialisation team at Bristol will walk you through the best steps to take to commercialise your invention, idea or product and take the benefits of your research to the wider community.

Dr Michele Barbour successfully spun out the company Pertinax Pharma from Bristol and will be giving her insight into what it’s really like to start your own business; the balancing act between academia and business, and the mistakes to avoid.

If you think your research could have the potential to be taken to market or want to hear more tips about becoming an entrepreneur, please come along.

There is limited space available, so register for free here to attend our ‘From lab bench to market’ seminar, cake and refreshments included!
