The Distillery Rooms, 103 Whiteladies Road, Clifton Down, Bristol, BS8 2PB

Are you a 2nd Year or above Bristol PhD student? whatever your long-term plans for your career, be they in academia or elsewhere, the skills you will develop and the experience that you gain through translating your research and collaborating with industry will enhance your CV and future opportunities.

We have developed a training programme in impact and translation which aims to be sector-leading. It will equip you as Early Career Researchers with the knowledge, skills and techniques that will give you the ability to identify the impact potential of your research and the confidence to pursue a translational research pathway.

Starting with students in their second year or later on our Bristol based PhD programmes, we are offering a free 1.5-day programme which is structured to be personal to you and specific to your research. You will have the opportunity to explore the impact potential during the workshop, as well as develop a personal action plan at a 1:1 follow up meeting. This bespoke, personal approach with a focus on your research makes this programme stand out from other commercialisation and impact training.

If you are interested in attending the workshop please discuss it first with your superviser and email teresa.nurser@bristol.ac.uk or sign up here
