Introduction to Research Grant Applications: Science and Engineering

This session will give you an introductory overview and will explore the following topics:

  •  types of grants available for your discipline
  • the funding environment
  • what you need to take into account when choosing a funder
  • the basic anatomy of a grant application
  • the research funding application and assessment process
  • what support is available to you within the University

This workshop is aimed at those new to applying for research funding and who plan to submit a proposal during the next year or so.
