Background
Research into Knowledge Transfer Practice is about exploring research into approaches towards developing a better understanding of Knowledge Transfer (KT).
The purpose of this event is to provide opportunities for delegates to listen, discuss and question some of the latest developments in Knowledge Exchange with a specific social science focus. Questions that will be addressed will be:
- What are the benefits in working with a university?
- What are the benefits of working with business /public sector/third sector?
- The 'Impact' of social science research

- Fiona Armstrong: Head of Knowledge Transfer, Economic and Social Research Council - Fiona will speak about Knowledge Exchange and its influence on Impact.
- Helen Woolley: University of Sheffield / Paul Collings, Timberplay (Joint academic / business presentation about a recent KTP)
