Drug Discovery strategies, markets and commercial opportuntiesWe are pleased to announce a conference on DRUG DISCOVERY being hosted by the University of Bath Research and Innovation Services on behalf of the Setsquared partnership (comprising the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Southampton and Surrey).
This free one day event will take place on Thursday 21 September at the Menzies Waterside Hotel, Bath and follows on from the successful Tissue Regeneration meeting held in February.
The primary aim of this event is to build connections between universities and industry by providing companies with an opportunity to showcase their programmes and current areas of interest, and for academics to present emerging areas of research and potential development opportunities.
We have already attracted an exciting line up of industrial and academic speakers.
The event will be Chaired by Dr Nigel Crockett, currently Director of Tukan Partners, and previously Business Development Manager at Astex and Cantab.
In addition to the speaker programme the event will include an opportunity to display posters with a prize for the best presentation, and a facilitated lunchtime networking session to encourage maximum interaction between participants.
