Of relevance for anyone interested in the wider energy debate
Thursday 13 October 2005, 18:30 - 21:30
Room 410, Graduate School of Education, Berkeley Square, Bristol
Speaker(s):
With oil prices at record high and global energy demand soaring are renewable energy sources the way to meet our energy needs and reduce damaging carbon emissions? Or are they a limited and vastly subsidized stop-gap that will never play a long-term role in powering the future?
This event will explore renewable energy technologies in the context of the regulatory environment, levels of public and private investment, and the opportunities for value creation and business success. Of relevance for those interested in the wider energy debate, for investors and entrepreneurs, and those keen to hear how academics and technologists in the Bristol area are at the forefront of the renewable revolution!Guest Speakers (in alphabetical order):

- Charles Middleton, MD, Triodos Bank
- Nick Smailes, New Business Acceleration Director, SETsquared
