The University works extensively with industrial partners in collaborative research activities, in projects supported by industry directly and by the UK Government and the EC. RED provides appropriate contract and project management support for collaborative projects, from helping identify funding opportunities and consultancy opportunities through to Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. |
Technology transfer

Technology transfer means identifying the knowledge we want to transfer and targeting the individual or organisation that we want to receive it. Our skills and experience at RED enable us to build relationships that allow the University and academics to get direct involvement in the exploitation of their knowledge and a direct return. We negotiate direct licences to companies, support collaborative development programmes and assist the creation of fully-fledged spin out companies. |
