The web editor team is responsible for creating and managing content on the corporate web and developing institutional web standards and best practice and the protocols and procedures required for the managed publishing of content on the University web. We manage the roll out of web templates across the University and develop the corporate web in terms of its content, accessibility, appearance and functionality. We are also involved in assessing the best ways of exploiting emerging trends, technologies and cultural shifts on the web, eg 'Web 2.0', social networking, etc. We work with a variety of media - including mobile devices, digital signage, video and audio. We also offer advice on planning new websites (UoB access only) and provide site reviews (UoB access only) for departments using the templates .

If you have any other web-related queries, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can contact the team via email, web-editor@bristol.ac.uk
