As scientists, we're sometimes viewed as another species. I'm on a bit of a mission to break down that stereotype by showing that I'm a human being.

Engage 2011 - Public engagement conference at the University of Bristol

Held on 29 September 2011, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm

This annual event was held to facilitate discussions about how the University of Bristol is building connections with public groups and organisations, in ways that benefit research and teaching, reputation and outreach.

The workshop provided a chance to hear about and discuss the changing landscape of public engagement, get inspired by colleagues’ activities and meet and exchange ideas with potential partners.

Registration was open to any academic and support staff, students and external guests.  Staff were invited to register with their public engagement partners.
