TARG post-doctoral researcher Dr Sophie Turnbull has been awarded the NIHR School of Primary Care Research launching fellowship to begin in October 2019. She will be using the year of funding to write up and publish papers from her PhD, and to apply for a further fellowship. The further fellowship will provide an opportunity for Sophie to continue to explore themes from her PhD around the impact of digital health interventions on health inequalities. Specifically, she will work with Prof Lucy Yardley and Dr Christie Cabral to develop and explore the feasibility and acceptability of a digital physical activity intervention adapted to the needs of underserved groups.
