Dr Olivia Maynard shortlisted for Bristol Teaching Award

Dr Olivia Maynard has been short-listed for the Students’ Award for Outstanding Teaching in the Faculty of Life Sciences as part of the 2019 Bristol Teaching Awards.
Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group workstream leader, Dr Olivia Maynard, lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences has been short-listed for the Students’ Award for Outstanding Teaching in the Faculty of Life Sciences as part of the 2019 Bristol Teaching Awards.
Dr Maynard teaches two courses through the School of Psychological Sciences; Drug Use and Addiction, and Advanced Drug Use and Addiction.
Student's described Dr Maynard as 'warm', 'approachable' and 'great at stimulating discussion', and she was commended for her enthusiam, inspiring students to seek opportunities outside of academic material to further broaden their experience.
Award winners will be announced Tuesday 12 June at a Dinner and Ceremony in the Great Hall of Wills Memorial Building.
