Marcus Munafò and Kate Button attended a two day symposium, hosted by the Academy of Medical Sciences, on the reproducibility and reliability of biomedical research.
Marcus gave a keynote presentation on the scale of the problem. Other topics of discussion included pre-registration of protocols, post-publication peer review, and possible improvements of research methods.
