2012 was another successful year for TARG. Here, we look through the year's highlights.

January 2012

The year started with Marcus Munafò giving his inaugural lecture. The lecture was well attended and Marcus discussed his research investigating why tobacco is so addictive, new treatments to help people quit, genetic influences on smoking behaviour, tobacco control and harm reduction.

TARG also started a large new collaborative study investigating whether wearing a nicotine patch prior to stopping smoking improves quit success.
