TARG members Suzi Gage and Kate Button were both on panels at Spot On 2013, a conference about how science is communicated and carried out online. The panel sessions can be viewed online at the following links.

Suzi featured on panels discussing how Open Access publishing is affecting science communication, and on managing science communication and outreach activities alongside a research career. As well as this, she moderated a lively session about misinformation in public health, focusing on vaccines, which was organised by PLOS. A Storify of this public health session has also been created.

Kate featured on a panel discussing scientific misconduct. The panel discussed some of the recent high profile cases of misconduct and fraud across different sciences, and how early career lab members might be better supported to voice concerns through the online community.
