Professor Jan Noyes visits Bangkok Patana to give mock lectures
22 January 2018
Jan visited Bangkok with 5 other members of the University of Bristol to hold mock lectures for students in Year 10 - 13 at Bangkok Patana School in Thailand.
Members from the Univeristy of Bristol, including Jan Noyes from the School of Experimental Psychology, visited Bangkok Patana School in Thailand to give mock lectures to students in Year 10 - 13.
From learning about perception in a psychology lecture to hearing about system design in engineering, our students were engaged and interested as they got a peek into what university life will be like for them.
This was a valuable opportunity for all of the students to give them the chance to experience and visualise themselves in a UK university lecture and understand how well their Bangkok Patana education is preparing them for their next steps in education.
All of the visiting Bristol faculty members were extremely impressed with the eagerness and energy our students brought to the classroom. The Bangkok Patana School are very proud that the University were left with such a positive, lasting impression.
Bangkok Patana School is Thailand's first and largest British international school for students from 2 to 18 years old.
