Congratulations to all of our 2017 Graduates and Graduate Prize Winners!
On Tuesday 18th July 2017, the School of Experimental Psychology celebrated the Graduation of its final year Undergraduate students.
Families from around the world came to Bristol to enjoy an extremely special day.
The graduates and their families were invited to the School for a drinks reception and prize giving ceremony before heading off to the Wills Memorial Building to graduate in the late afternoon.
The following prize winners are:
Awarded the Richard Gregory Prize. This prize is awarded to the student with the most innovative final year independent research project.
Chloe Macmillan and Georgia Tyler
Awarded runners up for the Richard Gregory Prize.
Awarded the Henri Tajfel Prize. This prize is awarded to the tudent with the best final year independent research project of a social psychology nature.
Awarded both the Experimental Psychology Clinical Prize and the British Psychological Society Undergraduate Award.
The Experimental Psychology Clinical Prize is awarded to the student showing most promise in the subject of Clinical or Neuropsychology in Year 3.
The British Psychological Society Award is awarded to the the student who achieved the highest overall score in an accredited degree programme at each of the institutions accredited by the Society.
Nominated for the British Neuropsychological Society's Annual Undergraduate Project Prize. The nominees for this prize are the students with the best final year independent research projects of a Neuropsychology nature.
Nominated for the Experimental Psychology Society / British Science Association Undergraduate Project Prize. The nominees for this prize are the students with the highest scoring cognitive themed final year independent research project.
Jia Ming Ho
Nominated for the Jonathan Sime Award. The nominees for this prize are the students with the best Undergraduate Dissertation on the topic of Environmental Psychology.
Nominated for the British Psychological Society Cognitive Psychology Undergraduate Project Prize. The nominees for this prize are recognised for outstanding research conducted in the area of cognitive Psychology.
Experimental Psychology Outstanding Achievement Prizes 2017
Jacks Bennett was awarded this prize for Year 3 (BSc).
Kira Griffiths was awarded this prize for Year 4 (MSci).
Contemporary Issues in Psychology
Students were awarded this prize, for delivering the best presentation within their seminar group in the subject of Contemporary Issues in Psychologoy.
